Blood: Refreshed Supply (RS) is the new remastered version of the classic first-person shooter by Monolith Production. Released in 1997 and based on the classic Build Engine, it features a gothic-style horror adventure set in the 20th century. A classic title considered one of the great 90s FPS games on the Build Engine, alongside Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior.
It was brought back with a modernized version on the Kex Engine in 2019 as Fresh Supply. But it was notably based on a reverse-engineering job of the source code. This led to some bugs and inaccuracies, despite having 4K support, widescreen, improved mouse control, and many other modern features. Blood: Refreshed Supply – The New Remaster Announced
In a completely unexpected announcement, the team at Warner Bros. Games, Atari, and Nightdive Studios unveil Blood: Refreshed Supply. A new modernized version of the great classic horror FPS by Monolith Production. The Nightdive team reveals it’s coming this very year, on:
- December 4, 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (GOG, Steam, and Epic). Later on Nintendo Switch 2.
The announcement officially dropped on September 28, 2025, along with the official trailer. It puts us back in the boots of the iconic gunslinger Caleb, risen once again and ready to put an end to the Cabal cult and the demonic Tchernobog. With a more faithful version than Fresh Supply, with many new additions in terms of content and its debut on consoles.
Blood: Refreshed Supply – What Are the Main New Features and How to Save Money
Refreshed Supply aims to be a more faithful version compared to Fresh Supply. Specifically, it brings all the features from the 2019 PC release. That means the entire original experience with the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage expansions. Widescreen support and resolutions up to 4K. Online and local co-op and multiplayer for up to 8 players. Among the new features, Refreshed offers:
- New Scenarios and Original Experience: With the addition of community add-on packs, including the first episode of Marrow at launch. The second episode, along with the Death Wish episodes, will arrive post-launch. Plus, the original Blood experience thanks to access to the original source code.
- Controls: With compatibility for Controller layouts with its debut on Console. As well as customization for mouse and keyboard keys and inputs.
- Modding Support and Gallery: With extended support for mods, as well as compatibility with already available mods. And the addition of a Gallery featuring pre-production photos from the archives.
A Definitive release of Blood that the team is offering with a big additional discount. In fact, owners of Blood Fresh Supply on PC, on both Steam and GOG, will get an extra discount. They’ll be able to purchase the new version with a 66% discount, and Fresh Supply will likely be removed from stores at the launch of Refreshed Supply.
