When Is the Attack on Titan 3 Release Date?

Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have officially confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 will launch worldwide on December 10, 2026. The action title is scheduled to arrive across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam in both physical and digital formats.

The release date follows the initial reveal at Summer Game Fest, locking in a late-year release for the adaptation. Localized text support includes English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, accompanied by original Japanese voice audio.

Attack on Titan 3 presents the final evolution of Omega Force’s high-speed aerial combat mechanics. Enhanced omnidirectional mobility (ODM) gear controls offer greater flight precision across sprawling environments.

Titans exhibit more unpredictable movement patterns and lethal attack behaviors than in previous titles. For the first time in the series, players will directly face off against the Nine Titans in rebuilt story sequences.

To ensure accessibility for all skill levels, the development team has integrated a new Casual Mode. This control scheme simplifies complex aerial maneuvers so players can focus on strategic positioning.

What New Gameplay Modes Are Included in Attack on Titan 3?

Attack on Titan 3 introduces Special Exterior Missions alongside its main campaign, allowing players to construct supply bases, manage resources, and survey territory outside the walls. Furthermore, the Regimental HQ functions as a social hub where players build bonds with squadmates and unlock character-specific skills before taking on expeditions.

Squad leaders must balance aggressive pushes against strict resource constraints during long expeditions. Blade durability and ODM fuel reserves require constant monitoring to prevent squad wipedowns in Titan territory.

On PC, the game offers specialized technical options. Features include support for 4K Ultra HD resolution, ultrawide displays, high refresh rates, and custom controller mapping.

Koei Tecmo has structured several editions for the launch window. The Standard Edition will retail under €70 across physical and digital storefronts. A physical SteelBook Launch Edition for console will also be available for under €70, featuring custom artwork by ICONART along with physical steelbook packaging.
