Circus Electrique Release Date Revealed

Developer Zen Studios and publisher Saber Interactive announce the release date of their upcoming turn-based, story-driven RPG, Circus Electrique.

The game will be available starting September 6, 2022 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The announcement came with a trailer which you can watch above.

What is Circus Electrique?

The developers describe Circus Electrique as a story-driven RPG that also has tactical and management elements.

Known as the “greatest show in Victorian steampunk London,” Circus Electrique houses talented performers who find themselves as unlikely heroes who must save the city after a mysterious event called The Maddening pretty much turned almost every Londoner into ruthless killers.

For some unknown reason, the performers were not affected by The Maddening, so they have no choice but to take matters into their own hands in order to save the city, or even the world.

The game features turn-based tactical battles where you must first effectively choose the characters that will make up your party of four.

You will then use their unique skills in turn-based battles each time you encounter “The Vicious,” which is what the press decided to call those affected by The Maddening.

Aside from saving the world, you will also be tasked into managing the circus, because the show must go on. Here, you will be managing performances, and each one allows you to earn resources that will lead you to getting clues to how The Maddening started, and how you could stop it.

You must also manage your performers well, as each one has their own Devotion morale system that affects how they perform both in battles and in the circus.
