Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies has its first trailer, giving us a glimpse of the mode. The cinematic trailer is only two-and-a-half-minutes long, but it’s just a teaser for a more detailed gameplay breakdown coming on August 8.

Activision and Treyarch explain in a blog post that the mode follows former members of the CIA-led Requiem team who are trying a daring escape from their imprisonment at a remote outpost in the Philippine Sea.

Set six years after the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War timeline, which saw the team battle undead across the globe and close the final dimensional portal, “Black Ops 6 Zombies continues the Dark Aether storyline, exploring the fortunes of key characters while also delving further into Richtofen’s motivations and goals.”

We only know a little about the mode at the moment. Treyarch is putting on an extensive showcase, including in-depth gameplay overview and bestiary on August 8 from 8am PDT. You can watch it live on the official Call of Duty channels.
