Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Beta Trailer Shows First Glimpse of Blackout Mode
Call of Duty fans get hyped! Activision has just released a new trailer to get us up to speed with what to expect when the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 private beta hits. The trailer confirms previously announced details, plus out first look at the game’s battle royale mode, Blackout.

The trailer shows glimpses of the different maps that will be available during the private beta. The Blackout teaser happens near the end, starting at the 1:25 mark.
The trailer also confirms 10 specialists playable across 6 maps and 5 game modes. There will also be new weapons, new equipment, new vehicles, and more. The Blackout teaser also showed characters from campaigns, multiplayer and Zombies all together in a chaotic skirmish.
As previously announced, console players will need to pre-order the game to join the private beta, while the beta on PC will be open to all who have (or create) a Battle.net account. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will launch on October 12th for PC, Xbox One and PS4. The Blackout beta will happen some time in September, with details set to be revealed as the month nears.
