The Gardens Between is a single-player puzzle game developed by The Voxel Agents, follow childhood friends Arina and Frendt as they reminisce about their friendship, journey through the representation of their past in a series of dream-like islands littered with their memories, examine what it truly means to be friends with someone.

• The Gardens Between is a short and accessible puzzle game it will typically take you only 2 hours to complete. The puzzles are direct and to the point, smart but casual friendly you will only be using simple controls, no overcomplicated UI.
• To solve the puzzle of each level you have to reach the top of the island, but you can’t control either of the protagonists directly you have to manipulate time to assist them in completing the puzzles.
• The story is mainly conveyed visually using the game’s unique storybook-inspired visual art style, there is no text and speech.

No good thing can last forever though, and as pretty and pleasant as the islands are, I couldn’t stay. After finishing a section, I often made Arina and Frendt run back and forth just to look at the details and to enjoy the complete, endearing picture, but that’s not how progress is made. I had to make them move on.
