Mario Tennis Aces is a sports video game that is developed by Camelot and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. The game can host up to 4 players.
Get to play tennis with the different characters from the Super Mario series. Like the previous game installments, Aces would still have the different techniques like topspins, slices, and lobs. In addition to these are new techniques that use the motion controls of the Joy-Con like the “zone shot” where you can aim the direction of the ball in a paused state and your enemy can attempt to block it. Three attempts are available, fail all three and your racket will break. Other included techniques are the “zone speed” where the game goes to slow motion and also the “trick shot” that can enable the player to travel where the ball will land. Another ability added is the “special shot” which can unleash a very powerful shot when you have a full energy gauge. But if you are not into those, a “simple rules” mode can be activated where only simple shots can be made.
Get to play with the online multiplayer mode and set up tournaments and singular matches. Activate the “swing mode” and you can use your Joy-Cons to simulate hitting the ball with a tennis racket.
