Battlefield 6 PC Specs Revealed: 4K Gaming, 144 FPS, and Endless Customization

Battlefield 6 PC system requirements announced by EA. Here’s also a look at the game’s server browser and portal options.

All shooter fans planning to run Battlefield 6 on PC can now check the system requirements for launch, as published by EA. As teased by the official PC trailer that just went out, the game supports 4k graphics plus uncapped frame rates. That may be a bit intimidating to owners of older PCs but turns out, even 2019 graphics card owners get a chance to play it too.

EA Released Battlefield 6 PC System Requirements

We have a little over a month left before Battlefield 6 launches. And so for PC gamers, this is the time to get your gear in order. EA has now released the PC system requirements to run the game at minimum, recommended, and ultra. The best setting possible is impressive but the game also doesn’t leave older PCs behind with the minimum being able to run even on 2019’s GeForce RTX 2060, as long as you have 6GB of VRAM. With this setup, expect 1080p resolution at around 30 frames per second, and make sure you’ve got at least 16GB of RAM.

For a better experience at 1440p and 60 fps, EA recommends more recent GPUs such as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT with 8GB of VRAM. Players aiming for higher frame rates above 80 fps may need to dial down the resolution or graphics settings.

If you want top-tier performance, like 4K gaming at 60 fps or 1440p at 144 fps, you’ll need serious hardware. EA suggests an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT with 16GB of VRAM, 32GB of RAM, and a high-end CPU such as the Intel Core i9-12900K or AMD Ryzen 7 7900X3D.

As per the report, the game will require an estimated 55GB for minimum and 90GB for recommended and ultra upon launch. The actual download size will be revealed when preloading starts. It is sizable but for what’s included with 600+ customizable options, it is warranted.

Being that B6 is a multiplayer game, there will always be some who will try to cheat. So EA’s response to that is their Javelin anti-cheat system. This custom-built system was developed by veteran engineers to tackle cheating specifically for FPS games. It uses unique features tailored to each EA title and protects against cheats both inside and outside of kernel mode.

EA also released the look of the much-awaited return of the Portal and the in-game server browser everyone is talking about.
