Publisher tinyBuild has announced Aterigos: Curse of the Stars, an action-adventure game developed by Acme Gamestudio. It will be launching on PC via Steam, PS4/PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series this Fall.

Players will take the role of the young warrior Hilda who’s from the Northwind Region. She travels to the cursed city of Aphes to save her father and also find out why it was cursed.

The developers used classical Greek and ancient Roman designs in creating the city. Players will be able to explore different areas including bazaar streets, sewers, its outskirts, and even deep chasms where glittering crystals can be found.

The city may be beautiful, but there are dangers lurking out there too, and not just anyone can explore it. Players will be facing off against 60 different monsters as well as 22 unique bosses that each have their own unique battle mechanics.

And of course, Hilda will be equipped with a variety of weapons (ranged or melee), depending on the player’s preferred combat style.

what is asterigos curse of the stars?

The combat is similar to Souls-like games, however it won’t leave you dying lots of times thanks to its light and dynamic combat system. The developers actually describe its gameplay as a balance of difficulty and exploration.

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars also has a choice-and-consequence feature where every decision Hilda makes will affect the story. In her quest to find the truth behind the curse, she will use conversations, discovered documents, cinematics, and her own diary to help her come up with a decision when needed.
