ASSASSIN’S CREED MIRAGE GAMEPLAY

Ubisoft creative director Stephane Boudon has explained how Assassin’s Creed Mirage has an improved AI and overall better gameplay experience.

Boudon recently spoke to Game Rant about Assassin’s Creed Mirage and explained that they wanted a “reliable detection system, so we added more behavior patterns to the AI.”

The search for an improved detection system has resulted in Assassin’s Creed Mirage having three stealth states.

Detection is split into warning, search, and combat states. All of them are communicated with the player and affect the AI differently.

Each detection phase will spread through the NPCs, resulting in reinforcements called for, a search party called off, or other little behaviors you can explore.

The new AI and stealth systems are all part of improvements that sees Assassin’s Creed Mirage be a much more compact experience, much like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
