Aragami 2 game director and co-founder David León revealed during an interview with Wccftech that the team faced challenges while working on the first Aragami game. He said many of their plans could not be realized because they lacked the experience, resources, and budget.
Now with Aragami 2, the team is happy to have added some of their dream features, including customization options, broader levels, co-op multiplayer, and the optimized combat system.
“The technical leap in this sequel is obvious. Aragami 2 has significantly larger levels with a wider vertical distribution in the core, which means more freedom and replayability for players,” Leon said.
The developers promise that you will feel like a ninja through Kurai in Aragami 2. The team has paid close attention to how clans are composed and its identities. “It needs to feel like your clan wears its own style and each player in it has a unique look. We’ve added a wider range of character customization features to help you personalize your look and equipment,” he added.
But the most ambitious of these is the game’s combat system. Leon said they developed a new combat system from the ground up. The game gives you the freedom to choose how you want to fight enemies as well as your own play style.
Aragami 2 is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
