PUBG Invitational Charity Tournament Winners Named

The Charity invitational portion of The PUBG Global Invitation had forty celebrities play against forty pro players that had been divided into teams. There had been four matches and the ones that came out victorious are those who were teamed up with the pro players from Gen.G Gold Esca and Simsn. The team of four was able to win six hundred thousand dollars that they can split among themselves for the charity of their choice. This is another win for the pro players in the tournament.

World of Warships In-Game Event Rolled Out in New Patch

The World of Warships update v0.7.7 will bring to the game the Sharks vs. Eagles in-game event. Players will choose which team to fight for. They will earn points by winning missions as well as finishing missions. The points earned will be converted into containers that will be delivered to each team and it will contain supplies, cosmetics and so much more. A Loyalty feature is also available where you can convince players to betray their teams. The game is now available for PC and PS4.

Racing Game Fast Dust Announced

A unique kind of racing game called Fast Dust has been announced and will be launching soon. While most racing games tend to favor shiny new cars from popular manufacturers, Fast Dust will feature 10 heavily battered cars. Players can enjoy 4 types of races — Standard, Elimination, Checkpoint and Countdown. Game modes will consist of Career Mode, Quick Race and Multiplayer. The game will also feature 70 racetracks with varying terrain. Fast dust is set to launch on August 22nd on Steam.

Grimmwood Officially Launches

The social multiplayer role-playing video game Grimmwood is stepping out of Open Beta and will be having its full launch on August 2nd. The game will set players in a village with a mystical forest together with thirty other players. Here you must help each other defend your village from the hoards of monsters trying to attack it. Decisions must be made quickly as the attacks become fiercer and fiercer as time passes. Each village must work together, explore surroundings and gather resources.

League of Legends MMO Not a Possibility, Riot Says

Earlier this week, both MOBA and MMORPG communities around the globe were stirred up by a simple tweet. Amidst the launch of a new site delving into League of Legends lore, Riot co-founder Marc “Tryndamere” Merrill asked fans whether they should build an MMO or not. If you were hoping that the question was backed by actual future company plans, you shouldn’t get your hopes up… at all! North American communications director Justin Krazl says that Merrill was simply being playful and people shouldn’t read too deeply into the tweet.

Monster Hunter World PC System Requirements Revealed

The long awaited Monster Hunter World PC port is almost here but before its launch, the system requirements for the game have been revealed. The best part of this is that the game has an unlockable framerate for the PC. The minimum requirements include an Intel Core i5-4460, 3.2 GHz processor, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 graphics card as well as 20 GigaByte of storage. The recommended however requires an Intel Core i7 3770 3.4 GigaHertz, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and a memory of 8 GigaByte.

Sleept Tight Shows Off Extra Modes

We Are Fuzzy’s twin-stick shooter-slash-base-building-hybrid game “Sleep Tight” is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch. Along with its release is a new trailer which kind of shows off the game’s additional game modes. The trailer shows some of the levels shrouded in complete darkness, and there’s also large pillow forts which players can fight in. It also has a cool way to turn the game into a shooter. Through the trailer, we see that the game offers a good amount of variety for players.

Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Scorestreaks Teased

We are a few days away from Call of Duty Black ops 4’s Multiplayer Beta, and Treyarch is on fire with its teasers on Twitter. The latest teaser Treyarch released is not that of weapons players will be able to use in the beta, instead, they teased the scorestreaks players can earn. These include the Hellstorm Missile from Black Ops 3, the RC-XD from Black Ops 1 and 2, and the new Strike Team. The teaser also gave players a new look at the Sentry Gun, Mantis robot, and gunship. The multiplayer beta starts August 3rd.

Steel Division 2 Announced

Eugen Systems has announced Steel Division 2, the sequel to Steel Division: Normandy 44 which was released back in 2007. The game is set in the summer of 1944, during Operation Bagration. The sequel will contain new single-player dynamic strategic campaign, new divisions, setting, mechanics, and historic units. There’s also a 10-versus-10 multiplayer mode. The game is yet to receive a release date.

Origin Access Premier Service Launches on PC

EA’s Origin Access Premier Service will be released July 30th. Origin Access Premier was first announced during this year’s EA Play at E3, and it was introduced as Origin’s new tier of PC gaming membership. Members will be able to play full games like Battlefield 5, FIFA 19, Madden NFL 19, and Anthem at launch or even a few days prior. It will also allow users to take 10% off on digital purchases. The Origin Access Premier service will cost you $14.99 a month or $99.99 per year.

GTA Online Hides Another Red Dead Redemption 2 Item

A Red Dead Redemption 2 exclusive in-game item will soon be available in GTA Online. No official announcement has been made available for this as of the moment, but thanks to dataminers, some information was brought to light. The item is the stone hatchet. In GTA Online, to get this, players must complete five bounties and will be given the coordinates for the item. For Red Dead Redemption 2, players must get 25 kills on a hatchet in Los Santos and you will get the stone hatchet in the game by October.

Kingdom Hearts 3’s Content to Span Over 80 Hours

Kingdom Hears 3 is set to launch by January 29, 2019, and will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is said to have around forty to fifty hours of gameplay for the main campaign, but the complete game will be around eighty plus hours. The reason for the additional hours is the many mini-games that players can play through. There will be a Ratatouille-based cooking game as well as 20 different old-school, side-scrolling games that are based on the Mickey cartoons from the 1930s and 40s.

London Spitfire Winners of First Overwatch League Final

London Spitfire conquers the very first Overwatch League Championship. The win had been secured during the weekend in the Barclays Center in New York, USA. They were up against Philadelphia Fusion and won with a score of 3-0. This win earned Spitfire a whopping one million dollar prize and a custom-made silver sculpture from Blizzard. No Man’s Sky is Now One of the Most-Played Games on Steam

It looks like No Man’s Sky was able to hit it out of the ballpark with their recently released Next Update. The game launched about two years ago and was able to receive so-so reviews and number of players. However, with the Next update, the game has reached the status as one of the most played games on Steam. The game had a 24-hour peak of 84,000 players which makes it the sixth overall game on the service. Also, Sean Murray of Hello Games tweeted that No Man’s Sky is also the most played on PS4 and Xbox One.

Destiny 2 Forsaken PvP Time to Kill Reduced

Destiny 2 Forsaken’s Time to Kill (TTK) will be adjusted and that means players will actually die much faster in the PvP. Also, a part of the change will include tweaks to the weapon slots and ammo availability. All of these will be talked about in detail during the combat reveal livestream that will be happening on August 7th. Jon Weisnewski, the senior sandbox designer will be the one to discuss the TTK changes as well as the weapon damages. A full demonstration of these has also been promised.

Dauntless’ The Coming Storm Expansion to Release in Parts

The Dauntless expansion called the Coming Storm will be released one day earlier than the expected date which is on August 8th. This is a free download that will bring changes to the Behemoth ecosystem as well as broaden the Shattered Isles. The Coming Storm will actually release in parcels and not as a whole which will be easier for the devs if there are changes or fixes to be made. In this way, along with the player’s feedback, the devs can give an improved experience from week-to-week.

Ubisoft Suspends 1300 Rainbow Six Siege Cheaters in One Week

Ubisoft is stepping up on its war against cheaters on Rainbow Six Siege. Reports say that the company has banned 1300 players in just a week! These players were found to have been boosted by cheaters. As one of the most popular competitive multiplayer games, Rainbow Six Siege is facing a huge cheating problem, thus Ubisoft deemed it necessary to ban cheaters. Aside from bans, these cheaters will have their rewards and ranks removed.

Crusader Kings 3 Probably Happening, Outgoing Paradox CEO Says

Crusader Kings 3 could happen, said Paradox Interactive’s Outgoing CEO Fredrik Wester. His position will be handed over to board member Ebba Ljungerud. Crusader Kings 2 had been launched in 2012 and it received quite a lot of expansions that Wester says the game cannot be added onto anymore. He even added that “We might need to take the etch-a-sketch, shake it a little bit, and start over.” So whether we might see another Crusader Kings game is still not that set in stone.

Battlefield 5 Grand Operations Will Be Playable at Launch

Battlefield 5’s Grand Operations will be available by launch day after all, EA/DICE has announced. According to the post on the game’s website, the original announcement was written July 9th, so it’s a little old, and that plans have changed since then. They went to confirm that the mode will indeed be available come launch day. Grand Operations is described as “the ultimate multiplayer experience” where players will experience a continuous battle across several maps, and the playing field can change sides when they win or lose.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider Showcases Lara’s New Climbing Techniques

A new gameplay trailer has been released for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and it features Lara’s new climbing technique. You will get to see the dynamic climbing which kind of reminds you of the 2003’s Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness where Lara hangs from ropes. This time around Lara is able to swing from ropes like how Spider-Man does it. There could be more to this though, like a movement system, but we will know more when the game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on September 14, 2018.
