Death Stranding Update Planned to Roll Out Mid-December

Kojima Productions announced that Death Stranding’s next update is planned for release mid-December and will add “the most common requests” from players. The update will include the ability for players to increase the text size, as well as the ability to dispose of individual vehicles. Death Stranding has just recently received its 1.06 update which brought “performance improvements” and “optimized network functionality.”


Man of Medan Gives Out Friend Passes

Bandai Namco has kicked off a limited-time promotion for Man of Medan which allows anyone who owns a copy of the game to share a Friend Pass. This Friend Pass can only be used once and allows the owner to invite a friend to play the game’s Shared Story Mode. To redeem the free Friend Pass, the invited player only needs to download the Man of Medan Trial from PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, and be invited to play the Shared Story Mode.


Valve’s Steam Controller is No More

Valve has confirmed through an interview with The Verge that they are halting production of Steam Controllers. According to Valve, the current batch that’s being produced will be the last ones. The Steam Controller’s price has also been slashed, and is now available for only 5 Dollars plus shipping in the Steam Autumn Sale. “The Steam Controller lets you play your entire collection of Steam games on your TV—even the ones designed without controller support in mind,” its product description on Steam reads.


Red Dead Redemption 2 Finally Arriving on Steam

Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 will soon be available on Steam. The much-awaited game on PC will be available on Steam starting December 5th after launching first for the Rockstar Launcher and the Epic Games Store. It is worth noting, though, that the Steam version will still prompt it to launch via Rockstar’s launcher, just like GTA 5.


The Stanley Parable’s Ultra Deluxe Edition Delayed

The Stanley Parable’s Ultra Deluxe edition won’t be launching this year as originally planned. The Ultra Deluxe edition will instead launch sometime in 2020 for PC and consoles. The Ultra Deluxe edition promises to expand the game more as it is expected to bring new endings, bits, and a lot more. The Stanley Parable started as a mod for Half-Life 2 in 2011, and later turned into a standalone game in 2013.


Google to Refund Players Who Already Bought Latest Stadia Pro Titles

Google is offering refunds for Google Stadia Pro subscribers who already purchased Stadia games that are now free. The games in question are Farming Simulator 19 and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition. Both games will be free for Stadia Pro subscribers starting December 1st. “We’re happy to assist you if you’d like to request a refund if you have purchased either or both of these titles, even if it’s outside of our normal policy,” Community Manager GraceFromGoogle said through the Stadia Community Boards.


Modern Warfare Double XP Event Runs Until December 2nd

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is celebrating the launch of its first season with a Double XP event. Players can earn Double XP from now until December 2nd in Modern Warfare’s online modes. This will greatly help players who are looking at reaching Officer Ranks before the game resets for the first season across all platforms. Officer Ranks will be locked once Season 1 kicks off.


Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s First Raid Revealed

Ghost Recon Breakpoint’s first raid kicks off November 28th, and it’s called Project Titan. Ubisoft has not shared concrete details about the raid, aside from a hint that it will involve a computer encased in glass or crystal. It is also located in a jungle and looks like it’s controlling a black helicopter that has four rotors but no windows. Ubisoft is expected to release more details on Project Titan soon.


DreamHack Winter 2019 Fortnite Tournament Has 250,000 Dollar Prize Pool

DreamHack Winter 2019 kicks off November 29th in Sweden, and it includes a Fortnite Tournament with a prize pool of 250,000 Dollars. The Fortnite Tournament is part of the event’s Bring Your Own Computer event where ticket holders can bring their own computers in the tournament floor, or even rent one on site. The tournament will have three stages: Stage 1 is open for everyone, and is divided into three heats with 200 players each. The best 200 players in Stage 1 will advance to Stage 2. Stage 2 will then advance the best 100 players to Stage 3 where 100 players will compete in an 8-game series.


DreamHack Open Winter 2019 Initial Matches Announced

DreamHack Open Winter 2019 in Sweden will be hosting a CS:GO Tournament where 8 teams will compete for the 100,000 Dollar prize pool. The tournament kicks off 12 noon CET on December 29th, with Group A’s first match between Furia and Marskalk. Group B comes next where Heroic faces off with SJ Gaming. The second match for Group A will also be held the same day at 3PM CET and will have ForZe battle against Tricked. Group B’s second match follows with CR4ZY vs GODSENT. A winners match for Group A and another one for Group B will be the final matches for the day.


Total War: Warhammer 2 Adds New Legendary Lords in New DLC

Total War: Warhammer 2 is getting a new DLC, and it’s slated to arrive next month. The Shadow & The Blade DLC introduces two legendary lords: Deathmaster Snikch of Clan Eshin and Malus Darkblade of Hag Graef. Both will be added to the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns, including their factions Clan Eshin and Hag Graef. The new factions also get 12 unique units. This DLC will also come with a free update that will give players access to a new Bretonnian lord and hero. The Shadow & The Blade DLC officially launches December 12th.


Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 1 DLC Will Be Released in Parts

Activision and Infinity Ward recently announced the first set of details about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s big Season 1 update. The said update will consist of a ton of free content like maps, modes, weapons, and more. This is certainly exciting news for the players but unfortunately, not all of this content will be available at launch on December 3. However, the developers never specified what content will be included in the next patch. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is available for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.


Tomb Raider and Farming Simulator 19 Awarded as Part of Stadia Pro Subscription

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Farming Simulator 19 will be available to all Google Stadia owners. This is for all who currently have a Stadia Pro subscription this December. This lot of individuals currently have access to Destiny 2: The Collection and Samurai Shodown. Not everyone was aware of this amazing deal and some had purchased the games despite qualifying for free access. However, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal considering they will be refunded should they send a refund request.

Blizzard has announced that Overwatch 2: Campaign leveling will be separate from competitive. This was divulged at a recent meeting involving lead writer Michael Chu and assistant game director Aaron Keller where they spoke at length about the title. The developers promise high Campaign replayability and will shift players between a wide variety of locations all over the world. There is yet to be an official release window or release date for Overwatch 2.


Strife Showcased in Darksiders Genesis Trailer

Airship Syndicate has released a brand-new trailer for Darksiders Genesis introducing a new character named Strife. He is depicted as a dual pistol-wielding, sword-swinging, eccentric horseman. Strife is both a master of ranged and close-quarters combat who marks the departure from a slower, melee-oriented style. Darksiders Genesis releases on PC and Google Stadia on December 5 and should you order before the mentioned date, you will be granted a 15% discount on your purchase.


Agents: Biohunters Closed Beta Sign-up Now Available

OG recently revealed the new pro team roster with which they will be entering the qualifiers for the second Dota Pro Circuit Major. Apparently, the team will be represented by five new players of various backgrounds. This new roster is now known as OG Seed and will function as an extension of the main OG roster. Hello Games has announced that the Synthesis Update for No Man’s Sky is queued for release on November 29, 2019. According to the patch notes, there will be 297 fixes & improvements to be exact. In addition, the update includes a brand-new terrain editing system that will award every player access to First-Person Exocraft and will add new features to VR. also, this update refines inventory management and adds a number of UI quality of life improvements.
