Conglomerate 451 Adds New Equipment and More in Early Access Update

Dungeon crawler Conglomerate 451 has received its biggest update yet while still in Early Access. The update adds Special Loot Crates that have different rarities and bring better rewards depending on the mission’s difficulty. The update also adds a Resources Module system which is a collection of modules and items that players will get by chance if an enemy drops it after getting defeated. Agents also get a special combat computer called a Cypher Deck which also comes with Plugins. The update also includes balance tweaks and fixes.

War Thunder Receives Major Content Update Northern Wind

Gaijin Entertainment has released a major content update for War Thunder called Northern Wind. This update marks the arrival of the new Swedish aviation tech tree, first two Swedish ground vehicles, and a Scandinavian-themed battle map. Dozens of new vehicles were also added for all nations, including the Rooikat Mk.1D. The update further adds the new Ray Traced Global Illumination system, physically correct spark simulation, and HDR technology support, making the game’s visuals more realistic.

Cadence of Hyrule Gets Dungeons Mode and Free Storyline

Brace Yourself Games has released a free new playable storyline as well as a Dungeons mode in its rhythm action game Cadence of Hyrule. The Zelda spin-off has received a new character: the game’s main villain, Octavo. He will be playable as part of the new storyline, Octavo’s Ode. With his golden lute, Octavo can attack enemies. The Dungeon mode, on the other hand, is a challenging mode where players are pitted against the game’s toughest enemies.

Blasphemous Patch 2 Now Live

The Game Kitchen has released Patch 2 for Blasphemous. The Game Kitchen said this patch is their attempt to “make Blasphemous feel better and more accessible than ever, refining and polishing the experience as much as possible without actually changing the core game.”

Fortnite Gives Away Free Skins for Christmas

Fortnite is giving away free Fortnite skins this Christmas as part of its Winterfest event. To get the free skin, players will only need to login and visit the Lodge where Crackshot is. A total of 14 gifts can be opened by logging in each day. Logging in daily isn’t a requirement, though, as players can still get freebies as long as the event runs. Winterfest ends January 8th, 2020.

Modern Warfare Named as Most-Played COD Launch

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is the most-played game at launch in the series in the PS4-Xbox One generation, Activision has reported. In its first 50 days, Modern Warfare clocked in 500 million hours per player, besting Black Ops 4, World War 2, Infinite Warfare, Black Ops 3, Advanced Warfare, and Ghosts’ current-gen versions. Modern Warfare has reportedly also sold more than a billion US Dollars’ worth of copies since its launch on October 25, 2019. The game has been the top-selling game in the US for October and November, according to NPD Group’s data.

New Black Desert Online Class Launches January 2020

Pearl Abyss revealed details on Black Desert Online’s new class, the Guardian. First off, pre-registration for those looking to try the class will be open on December 24th. The character officially launches January 22nd, 2020. The Guardian is a character class that wields a battleaxe and shield and uses melee attacks to suppress enemies. It is the 19th class in Black Desert Online. More information about the Guardian is available in the game’s official website.

Saber Interactive to Work on Killing Floor 2

Saber Interactive, the developer behind World War Z, will be working with Tripwire Interactive for Killing Floor 2. In a long post on Steam, Tripwire said they have “conducted an exhaustive search of development studios” from which Saber Interactive has proven “to have the right technical and creative skillset that gelled well with Killing Floor 2’s identity and gameplay.” Both studios will work together to experiment with HRG weapons in order to build a new identity for already existing weapons.

ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore Main Event Teams Named

Twelve teams have competed in ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore’s Group Stage, and now, after three days of exciting matches, we are down to eight teams who will face off in the Playoffs. First up will be the Upper Bracket Finals between Gambit Esports and Evil Geniuses, happening December 20th. Over at the Lower Bracket, Round 1 matches will be held for versus NaVi, and Vici Gaming versus TNC Predator. Winners from both matches will battle Alliance and Team Secret in Lower Bracket R2. The Grand Finals will be held on December 22nd.

Team Vitality and mousesports are EPICENTER 2019 Semifinalists

Team Vitality and mousesports advance to the Semifinals of EPICENTER 2019 in Moscow, after besting other teams during the Group Stage. Vitality won against EHOME in Group A’s Opening Matches, then faced Na’Vi in the Winners’ Match. Over at Group B, mousesports won against in the Opening Matches, then faced Evil Geniuses in the Winners’ Match. The Grand Final will be held on December 22nd and will be broadcasted on Twitch.

Final Fantasy 14 Welcomes Back Starlight Celebration Event

Final Fantasy 14 has brought back its Starlight Celebration event. The holiday event runs from now until December 31st and players will be able to receive festive items and quests. Previous Starlight Celebration items will also be available during the event in the seasonal shop. Some areas in the game, such as Gridania and Limsa Lominsa, will be decked with holiday décor to celebrate the event.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare First Mid-Season Patch Live

The first mid-season Call of Duty: Modern Warfare patch has arrived and it adds the Vacant and Shipment remakes, Cranked mode and a new operator named Nikto. There are also a bunch of bug fixes as well as balance tweaks available. One of the most notable in the balance tweaks is the reduction of footstep sound in the third-person. The audible range has been reduced, increasing the degree walls as well as other solid objects that block the sound of footsteps. The rustling sound has been reduced too.

Co-op Baking Game Bake ‘N Switch Revealed

Rockfish Games’ single-player shooter Everspace 2 was able to reach their goals on Kickstarter. If you are one of the backers of the game you will have access to its prototype build. You will be getting a Steam key via email for the access. The prototype build is similar to what we have been seeing at the recent gaming events but with improved UI. It has a new inventory system where players are able to sort, compare and drag and drop items. Everspace 2 is set to launch by 2021.

Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break Closed Alpha Announced

Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is getting a closed alpha which will start on January 10th and run up until the 13th. The alpha will be a first come, first served basis, so you must be quick to sign up for it through their official site.
