D&D Game Dark Alliance Launching Next Autumn

Dungeons & Dragons’ hack-n-slash series Dark Alliance is making a comeback with a spiritual successor simply called Dark Alliance. Tuque Games and Wizards of the Coast revealed that Dark Alliance will feature a new story, so it is separate from Baldur’s Game: Dark Alliance. The game will be set in Icewind Dale and its story will still revolve around Drizzt Do’Urden and RA Salvatore. Co-op will be a fundamental part of the game as it supports up to four players. Dark Alliance is looking at a Fall 2020 release.

New Tactical Team Shooter Nine to Five Revealed

Redhill Games has revealed its new tactical team first-person shooter, Nine to Five. The game boasts itself as a “fresh take on the tactical first-person shooter” as it focuses on teamwork. The game will have three teams of three against each other as they fight for domination in three rounds. Each round has changing objectives, and every round influences the next one. The game is currently in development, and an alpha will be scheduled sometime in 2020.

Spintires Chernobyl Out Now

Spintires’ Chernobyl DLC has launched. This DLC brings a Chernobyl-inspired map that features “true-to-life representations of buildings, landmarks and roadside clutter.” It also brings new vehicles – the B-157 and B-505 – which come with complete attachments as well as custom sounds. The DLC also features realistic foliage, three exclusive Steam achievements, radiated areas that will cause vehicles to explode when overexposed, a functioning Geiger-counter that helps players avoid radiated areas, and a Chernobyl-inspired proving ground that has a vehicle testing facility.

New MMO ARPG Magic Legends Announced

Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios announced a new MMO action RPG, Magic Legends. The game is set in Magic: The Gathering’s universe. It was first revealed back in 2017 as “a new free-to-play, action MMORPG” where players will take the role of a Planeswalker exploring “amazing worlds,” combating powerful creatures, and meeting legendary beings.

Destiny 2 Welcomes Back The Dawning

The Dawning is making its return to Destiny 2 on December 17th. The Dawning is a special free yearly event in Destiny 2 where players celebrate the winter season and the spirit of giving. This year, Eva is back with new recipes, and a new ship-shaped package as well as sparrow with the player’s name will also be available. There’s also a new sub-machine gun. It will also don the game with festive décor.

Launch Date for Ash of Gods Redemption Revealed

Buka Entertainment and Ravenscourt have announced the release date for its turn-based RPG Ash of Gods: Redemption. The game will be available starting January 31, 2020 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The game features three main characters, deep, turn-based combat, stunning art style, and an amazing soundtrack. The game’s story is non-linear and has seven completely different endings that doesn’t have a Game Over screen.

Amazon Games’ MMO New World to Launch May 2020

Amazon Games’ MMO New World finally gets a release date. It will be launching on May 2020 for PC. The release date has been announced via a cinematic trailer which gives players a glimpse of Aeternum, also called the Eternal Isle. The game features an open world and is set in the 17th century during the Age of Exploration. Combat is skill-based and visceral, featuring massive battles with up to 100 players in the battlefield. Pre-orders are now available in the game’s website.

Mortal Kombat 11 Krossplay Feature Now in Beta

NetherRealm Studios released a surprise update which includes a beta for Krossplay, a feature that will allow players on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to battle against each other. To access the feature, simply go to the Kasual Battle lobby and toggle the function. PC and Nintendo Switch players are not included in this beta at this time. Ubisoft Celebrates Gris With R6 Weapon Skin and Charm

Ubisoft paid tribute to indie game Gris after it won the Games For Impact award during The Game Awards. Ubisoft has released a weapon skin and charm in Rainbow Six Siege in celebration of the studio’s 10th anniversary. The skin and charm are donned with Gris’ signature visuals. The charm, however, was only available for Ela’s Scorpion SMG. This offer was only made available until December 15th.

LEC 2020 Spring Split Kicks Off January 24th

The League of Legends European Championship, or the LEC, is kicking off its 2020 debut on January 24th, Riot Games announced. Broadcast schedules will remain the same, beginning at 11AM CT on Fridays, and 10am CT on Saturdays. These will be broadcasted via Twitch, YouTube, or Lolesports. Players who watch the games will be able to earn awesome rewards like Icons, XP, Emotes, and more. G2 Esports were last year’s winners, and teams hungry for a win are out to attempt to beat them this time.

Epic is Giving Away 12 Free Games

Epic Games is closing the year with an awesome giveaway. From December 19th, Epic Games is giving away one free game everyday until January 1st. Planetside Arena Closing Servers in January 2020

Planetside Arena is officially closing down its servers on January 10th, 2020 at 5:00 PM PST. The game first launched as an early access game on Steam in September this year. However, the developer Daybreak Games laid off some employees including those who were working on the game. After two months they announced that the game is not working out and that the servers will have to close. Those who purchased the game on Steam will automatically be refunded in full.

The Outer Worlds DLC Announced for Next Year

Sci-fi RPG The Outer Worlds from Obsidian will be continuing with its adventure through a DLC that will be launching next year. No details were given for it as of yet and was promised to be made available at a later date. The game had some nominations for The Game Awards 2019, although they did not win any of it, as the competition is quite tough, they are very thankful for being nominated. The nominations include Best Narrative, Best Performance, Best RPG, and Game of the Year.

Verminite 2 Season 2 Limited Beta Announced

Fatshark has announced that the second season of Vermintide 2 limited beta will be launching today and will be running until next month. Season 2 will have three maps, and the beta players will have access to the first map as well as the revisions to the Weaves game mode for players who has the Winds of Magic DLC as well as the Lohner’s Emporium. The anti-RPG game from Degica called Hero must die. again, has been announced to be coming to the PC by Spring of 2020 and will be available on Steam. You will play as a hero that has won a fight with the powerful demon called Guile. However, in the process, you also died. Because of the great deed that you have done the gods had mercy upon you and granted you five more days to live to finish your affairs. Each passing day though, you lose strength. The game comes with 50 different endings.

Maneater Set to Launch on May 2020

Deep Silver and Tripwire Interactive shared a trailer for their upcoming game for PC called Maneater. You will be playing as a baby bull shark who only has his wits and jaws as well as a strange ability to evolve when he feeds as his defense. There is a wide variety of environments to explore like swamps, rives, beachsides and even the deep blue ocean. The game is set to launch on May 22nd is only available through the Epic Games Store at the moment.

HD Remasters of Commandos 2 and Praetorians Betas Now Live

The Commandos 2 HD Remaster and the Praetorians HD Remaster closed betas are now live for those who were able to prepurchase the games. Those who are still planning to make the purchase can go to the Kalypso Store and buy the games individually or through a special double pack. The beta keys can be redeemed through Steam. The full versions of both games will be available on January 24, 2020 on PC. The console launch will be available by Spring of the same year.

Bravely Default 2 New Trailer Revealed

Bravely Default 2 which is the third game of Bravely Default has been announced. The title is a bit confusing but the reason behind that is because the game is actually a separate sequel to the original two games. It has a new world, new characters as well as a new story. Bravely Default 2 will be launching for the Nintendo Switch by the year 2020. A new trailer had been launched for this party-based RPG during The Game Awards last night.

Untitled Goose Game To Launch in the Xbox Game Pass

The charming game Untitled Goose Game is coming to the Xbox One. The information had been leaked last week, but it has now been confirmed, but a launch date for it is yet to be set. Another thing that has been confirmed about the game though is that it will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass next week. Untitled Goose Game is now available for PC and the Nintendo Switch. The game is set to launch for the PlayStation 4 on the 17th of December which most likely will be the same launch date for the Xbox One.

Astralis Wins Blast Pro Series Global Final 2019

The Blast Pro Series Global Final 2019 has concluded over the weekend in Riffa Bahrain. During the grand finals, we find Astralis and Team Liquid duking it out, with Astralis winning 4 maps without dropping one. They were crowned champions of the Blast Pro Series Global FInal 2019. The champions brought home a total of $350,000 USD. In second place is Team Liquid, with $80,000 USD, in third place is Ninjas in Pyjamas with $35,000 USD, and in fourth place is FaZe Clan winning $15,000 USD.

The Capcom Cup 2019 Champion is iDom

The Capcom Cup 2019 also happened over the weekend at The Novo in Los Angeles, California. This is the culmination of the year’s Capcom Pro Tour. The player who emerged triumphant as the best Street Fighter player in the world is iDom bringing home the $120,000 USD prize money. In second place is REC, in third is NVD, the fourth place is Mago, the fifth is Rohto|Tokido, the sixth place is CYG|Fuudo, in seventh is Liquid|Nemo and in the eighth place is YOG|Machabo.

Converge: A League of Legends Story In Development

During The Game Awards, a new Riot Forge game had been announced which is Converge: A League of Legends Story. This is a single-player, action platformer that will let players control time as Ekko. He is based on the League of Legends character who has been called the Boy Who Shattered Time. He is able to speed up his own time in order to increase his speed or he can also create alternate timelines to slow down enemies in alternate realities. No launch date is available as of yet.
