Ion Maiden Now Called Ion Fury, Exits Early Access Next Month

Ion Maiden has a new name. The game will be called Ion Fury moving forward. Its developer Voidpoint has also announced that the game will be leaving Steam Early Access starting August 15, 2019. The game’s Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases will arrive later. Ion Fury promises to bring nostalgic action together with modern features as it sports a 90’s look and feel but is packed with modern-day features like widescreen support and quicksaves.


Urban Explorer Mixes Parkour and Horror in One Game

Parkour and horror elements combine in Woodland Games’ first-person perspective exploration game, Urban Explorer. The game will have players explore “abandoned buildings, top secret facilities and catacombs, as well as places still in use, such as engine rooms, elevator shafts and abandoned building floors.” Players will also face not-so-friendly inhabitants of these places as they complete objectives, avoid security cameras using Parkour skills, upgrade their equipment, and take pictures.


The Ninja Warriors: Once Again Launches July 25th

The Ninja Warriors: Once Again, which was previously titled the Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors, now has a worldwide release date. The game will officially be launching on July 25th and will be available digitally on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Once Again is the second remake of The Ninja Warriors which was released back in 1987. the first remake was released in 1994 through the SNES. Once Again stays true to the original’s 16-bit aesthetic, and has been rebuilt using a new engine.


Cyberpunk 2077 Has Set Limits for Fighting People

CD Projekt Red has placed limits as to what types of people players can beat up in Cybperpunk 2077. In response to a question on Reddit, CD Projekt Red said, “You won’t be able to attack children or NPCs connected with the plot, but other than that you can be aggressive towards most people you meet.” The developer also added that aggressive behavior in the game will come with additional consequences.


Borderlands 3 Invites Players in “Celebration of Togetherness”

Gearbox Software is inviting everyone to take part in Celebration of Togetherness happening on July 16th, at 7:00 AM Pacific Time. Those who wish to participate can log on to borderlands.com during the said date and time. We don’t have news as to what this celebration actually celebrates, so we’ll all just have to wait until July 16th to find out. Borderlands 3 is out on September 13th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.


Pre-Orders of COD Modern Warfare Will Let You Play Captain Price in Blackout

Activision has launched a promotion to encourage players to pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Players who pre-order the game will be able to play Modern Warfare’s Captain Price in Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s Blackout battle royale. Players on the PlayStation 4 get first dibs as Captain Price will be made available to them first due to a deal with Playstation. Pre-order customers on PC and Xbox One will be able to play him starting July 18th.


Next League of Legends Patch Will Let Players Mute Allied Chat

League of Legends’ upcoming update 9.14 will allow players to turn off allied chat. This is especially helpful for players who were teamed up with random players and are annoyingly spamming the chat, or for those who simply wish to use voice chat instead. This option will be activated by default when the update goes live on July 17th, so players will have to turn it off themselves if they don’t wish to use this feature.


Emberlight Enters Beta

Quarter Onion Games’ dungeon crawler Emberlight has entered beta, the studio has announced. The announcement comes with a lengthy gameplay trailer, showcasing the ” in-depth gameplay” players can expect. The game will let players’ party members take on traits of evil personas, which are expressed through powerful abilities. Emberlight is scheduled to launch on August 13th on Steam.


God Eater 3 Out Now on Switch

Bandai Namco’s God Eater 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch. Now players can experience the game’s all-new 8 player Assault Missions mode which will put players’ Aragami slaying to the test. The game will also let players take on the Aragami alone through the help of CPU characters, or team up with other players in online or local co-op. Retro adventure game Aggelos from developers Storybird Games and Wonderboy Bobi is out now, and is available for players on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Now players on consoles can also experience the action as they explore its rich, seamless world and hunt down bosses.


Tetsumo Party Announced for PC and Consoles

The couch co-op party game Tetsumo Party has received its release date. The game will be launching for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on July 26, 2019. The game features local multiplayer with up to 8 players, while it also allows players to tackle the game solo. The game also boasts of simple controls, as players will only need to control a limb each using different buttons in order to fit the character through the bamboo wall’s hole.


Overwatch Match Stops Automatically When Cheating is Detected

Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan announced that they have a new cheat detection system added to their game. If cheating has been detected, Blizzard will automatically shut down the match immediately. When this happens only the cheater will be penalized and the other players that are in the same match won’t lose any Skill Ratings. No details were given by Kaplan as to how the cheaters will be detected but he did say that when caught, they will be facing “very harsh actions”.


Gears 5 Removes Smoking in Game

Gears 5 is going to be a smoke-free game. If you are a fan of the Gears of War series, then you would know that it featured characters that smoke. The Coalition chief Rod Fergusson said that he was able to see the “devastating impact of smoking” and that it is important for him not to use it in the game’s story in order to avoid glorifying it for players. Actually, the anti-smoking move had been around for quite some time now, said Fergusson, since Gears 4 and 5 no longer featured any character who smokes.


First Dota Underlords’ Battle Pass Currently in Beta Test

The very first battle pass for Dota Underlords is now in beta test. This is called the “Proto Pass” which is free for beta testers to try out. The Proto Pass makes sure that the developers can still make any bug fixes needed while players are able to get rewards like new boards, banners and emotes. Valve made sure that players in free to play games would still get their paid bonus packages but not make them annoying to get or without making them a waste of money with this new Proto Pass.


Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC Adds Fantastic 4, X-Men and Marvel Knights

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is getting DLC packs over time but the catch is that players will not be able to purchase them separately. All of the DLC packs will be a part of the game’s expansion pass which is about 20 US dollars. This move will keep the DLC inside the expansion pass but will also limit the choice of the consumers. There will be three parts included in the expansion. No other details were given but we know that the content will revolve around the Fantastic Four, X-Men and Marvel Knights.


Warframe Spaceships Runs on Portals

The idea of running around your space ship at the same time that it is being piloted by somebody is something that was made possible by Warframe’s newest update called the “Empyrean update”. This is actually easier said than done as Warframe director Steve Sinclair explained that in order to do this, they need portal technology where the space ship that you are running around in is actually not moving in a different portal at the same time the same ship is actually moving in another portal.


Eve Online Changes Chat in the Game

Eve Online is changing its chat system and because of it, the gameplay also changes drastically. Eve Online’s galaxy called New Eden is divided into the Known Space and the Unknown Space. Communications work differently in both. The Known Space would have perfect information for everybody in the space, while the Unknown Space does not, making it more terrifying. The change that will be implemented is that communications in the Unknown Space will be the same as the Known Space.


Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure Launches Next Month

An old-school adventure game from Stuck in Attic called Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure will be launching on August 7th for PC. Get to go on an adventure with Buzz Kerwan, a humble librarian who gets his hands on an ancient Necronomicon and accidentally uses it on his cat. This gives the cat, Kitteh the ability to speak. The two with the help of a private eye named Don R. Ketype will be going on an adventure together in order to get back the evil book. The game offers beautiful animation and great humor.


Luigi’s Mansion 3 Possible Release Date Revealed

Luigi’s Mansion 3 which was announced at E3 2019 may have a possible release date. All thanks to Amazon Mexico the release date of the game has been leaked, and it is said to be on October 4th this year. Although no official release date had been given by Nintendo, October 4th is a viable date since the game was announced to be launching before the year ends, and it is also a Friday, the usual day of the week that Nintendo releases games. We would have to wait for the official announcement to be sure.


Madden 20 Adds 4 New Players to 99 Club

Madden 20’s prestigious 99 Club is a small pool of athletes who have been rated as top 99 overall in the game. There are four athletes that had been announced to be coming into the club this season and they are Los Angles Rams Right End Aaron Donald, Seattle Seahawks Middle Linebacker Bobby Wagner, Khalil Mack of the Chicago Bears and DeAndre Hopkins of the Houston Texans. Madden 20 is set to launch on August 2 and will be available to be played on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Astral Chain Details Shared

More Astral Chain details have surfaced just before its official launch on August 30th. As seen on the Nintendo eShop, developer’s Platinum Games shared that the game would need 9.6 GB of storage on the Nintendo Switch. The game can be played on the TV mode, Tabletop and Handheld mode. Also, the game can be played with up to two players and that it is also compatible with a Pro Controller. Several languages are also available which are English, Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Korean and Chinese.


The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan Official PC Requirements Revealed

Bandai Namco was able to share the official PC requirements of their upcoming game The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan. According to the post, the minimum requirement is an Intel Core i5-3470 or an AMD FX-8350. Also, for graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 would be the minimum requirement. Your PCs should have 80 GB of free space as well as at least 8 GB of RAM. The Dark Pictures Anthology – Man of Medan is set to launch on August 30th.
