Fortnite Might Get Split-Screen Play

It looks like Fortnite is getting split-screen play allowing two players to enjoy the battle royale game in just one screen. This had been first leaked via a support page for the Fortnite split-screen before the Fotrtnite patch notes were revealed. This showed that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the game will be supporting local split-screen play. Based on the leak, the split-screen will only be available for Duos and Squad modes and will not be available on the Creative, Solo and LTMS.

First-Person Sandbox MMO Mortal Online 2 Coming to Steam Early Access

Star Vault has announced that Mortal Online 2 is set to enter Steam Early Access in late 2020. Mortal Online 2 is a first-person sandbox MMO and boasts of a level-free open world where any player can attack another player at any point and take everything they own. The game features a complex crafting system with “millions of combinations,” intense, skill-based combat, deep character customization, an open skill system with over 600 skills and no character levels, a massive sandbox world, and many more.

Sea of Thieves Gets Its Maiden Voyage Tutorial

Sea of Thieves finally features a tutorial called Maiden Voyage. The game launched without any tutorials, so Maiden Voyage is a perfect addition especially for those who are new to it. The tutorial shares a bit about Sea of Thieves and the Pirate Lord which are helpful information for players before they begin tackling Tall Tales quests. It also teaches players how to sail, and even give them a chance to take on skeletons, dig chests, catch chickens, and more. Maiden Voyage can be accessed through the main menu and is available for all players.

More Characters for Fairy Tail RPG Revealed

Koei Tecmo and Gust reveal more characters for their upcoming game, Fairy Tail RPG. In this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, Koei Tecmo revealed screenshots of playable characters Jellal Fernandes, Laxus Dreyar, and Mirajane Strauss. The game now has 15 playable characters in total. Producer Keisuke Kikuchi previously revealed that they will be adding as many characters to the game as they can.

Trine 4 Gets Free DLC, Available Now

Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince has received its free DLC, Toby’s Dream. The DLC revolves around Toby the dog who finally has his own adventure in Heatherwood Hall along with the Three Heroes. In the DLC, players will help Toby find all the treats hidden in the castle and the gardens. Players must complete the Prince’s Dream level of Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince before taking on Toby’s Dream.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Receives a Small Patch with Bug Fixes

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received its December 11th update which includes fixes to some bugs and glitches. The patch fixes weapons R9-0 Smoothebore, the “Smooth Dominator” and the “Heat Cycle” which are reported to be not appearing correctly in-game. It also fixes a bug where equipping the “Old Wounds” LMG causes an error, and kicks players out of the menu. It also includes updates to operator challenge descriptions, and more. Vigor Update Brings Battle Pass, Christmased-Themed Rewards, and More

Free-to-play shoot-and-loot game Vigor has received a battle pass as well as Christmas-themed rewards in its 1.2 Preppers update. The battle pass will offer “various exciting rewards for XP” and for those who want to get even more can purchase the Premium Battle Pass. the game is also celebrating the Christmas season with Tools, Crafting Boosters, Charity Box Rewards, and a lot more. Vigor is exclusively available on Xbox One.

Ys Memories of Celceta Remaster for PS4 Announced

Action RPG Ys Memories of Celceta will be getting a remaster for the PlayStation 4. It will be released in Australia and Europe in physical and digital forms in 2020. The game was developed by Nihon Falcom and is part of its long-running Ys series. It first released for PlayStation Vita, and the remastered version will be launched for the PlayStation 4. The remaster will feature 60 FPS with full HD graphics and optimized controls.

DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019 Kicks Off This Weekend

The DreamHack Open Sevilla 2019 CS:GO tournament has kicked off, where eight of the best pro teams in the world will battle for the prize pool of 100,000 dollars. The group stages started December 13th with the Opening and Winners matches having a Best of One format, while the Elimination and Decider matches will have a Best of Three. The tournament will run until Sunday, December 15th.

LA-MULANA 1 and 2 Release Date Announced

The release date for platform exploration games LA-MULANA 1 & 2 has been announced. Both games will be launching as a bundle in March 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch. The game will launch first in North America on March 17th, followed by Europe on March 20th, and finally in Oceania on March 27th. The bundle will be called the Hidden Treasures Edition. La Mulana features the protagonist Lemeza Kosugi as he tries to unlock mysteries within the ruins of La-Mulana.

Neon Racing Game Street Heat Out Now on PC

Astalo Games and PQube’s racing game, Street Heat is now available on PC via Steam. Street Heat features a vibrant neon-colored world and a retro-ish soundtrack by Sami Tikkamäki. The game was previously launched as an early access title. Street Heat pits players against three other racers as they outrace each other in different tracks. the game offers different game modes such as multiplayer, arcade, tournament, and more.

The name of the prequel expansion is The Last Autumn, this is the time when the life-saving generator is being constructed. You will be handling a group of engineers building this generator. There will still be some survival themes and players get to deal with new crises. The Last Autumn is set to launch on January 21.

Control’s New Update Expedition Mode Revealed

Control has gotten a new update and it is called the Expeditions mode. This can only be accessed late in the game and players are able to unlock special combat challenges in another dimension with it. The expeditions are also time-limited for only 25 minutes and are accessible through a jukebox, where you would need to use tokens. There are four areas to complete. If you die, you will lose progress and if you run out of time, you will lose the token you used and would need to look for another.

In the final announcement during The Game Awards, we get to see both Michelle Rodriguez and Vin Diesel take the stage and announce a Fast and Furious videogame. The exact name is Fast and Furious Crossroads and it is developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Bandai Namco. The game is set to launch by May of 2020. There will be fast cars and explosions according to Michelle and Vin.

Ori and the Will of Wisps Delayed

Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be delayed a month from its original launch date of February 11, 2020, which is now March 11, 2020. Moon Studios made the announcement during The Game Awards 2019, saying that the delay will ensure that fans get the best gameplay experience. There had also been a trailer shown for the game, as well as an announcement saying that the game is now available for preorders for PC and Xbox One. The game will also come to the Xbox Game Pass when it launches.

In a Tweet, Flash Wolves announced that their League of Legends team won’t be participating in the PCS 2020. They added that they will help their players to look for a new stage in their careers. Right now, the teams that will be competing in the PCS 2020 have not been revealed, and we are excited to know who will be filling up those 10 spots.

Gears Tactics System Requirements Announced

The fast-paced, turn-based strategy game Gears Tactics will be coming to PC on April 28, 2020. The game’s official system requirements have been revealed, and the game would at least need an Intel i3 Skylake processor, 8 GB of RAM, and an AMD Radeon R7 260X or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti and about 45 GB of free space. The game is set 12 years before the first Gears of War and it will not have any microtransactions.

The Outer Worlds Update 1.2 Now Available

The Outer Worlds was able to get a new patch and it is Update 1.2. Obsidian Entertainment shared that the patch will add Chromatic Aberration and Head Bobbing settings to all platforms. The patch also includes a lot of bug fixes for the game’s glitches like the times where multiple characters talk over each other when a player dies.
