It is easy to conclude that this is the best part of the series. Exodus took Metro’s story to the next level, and the gameplay skillfully placed it between linearity and freedom. Now you will ask me how it is "the best part of the series", and we gave Last Light a higher rating. In short, Exodus brings the most variety in the gameplay, but technically it has not improved the below-average intelligence of the opponent, which was objected to in the previous game. On the other hand, in some aspects like sound, Exodus brought inexplicable problems.

But regardless of that numerical value, the key thing about Metro Exodus is the one I mentioned at the very beginning of the review - that this is a game of true post-apocalypse. After some colorful disasters, one learns to appreciate games with real post-apocalyptic motives. I haven’t played such a good post-apocalyptic title since S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
