Two new Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom gameplay and BTS videos were recently released, showcasing new gameplay and behind-the-scenes footage.
The gameplay video, which you can watch below, shows what the game’s new Army-on-Army combat feature. This new feature lets players command their own squad of soldiers to battle it out with an enemy’s own squad. This will make its debut once the game officially releases on 23 March 2018.
The second video released was a look at what’s happening behind-the-scenes, specifically on how Level-5 worked on the game’s story and animation. The video also features some of the top members of the development team as they discussed how the game is played from two perspectives – one from a child protagonist, and another from an adult protagonist. This type of storytelling gives the game an innocent vibe while also appealing to a mature audience.
The developers also discussed how they created the game’s city, Goldpaw, which was based on Taiwan. Watch the video below:
Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom has been delayed yet again, Bandai Namco announced. The game will now be released on 23 March 2018.
