Street Fighter 5 promised something new each month, and this month will bring you a classic character along with some updates.
This classic character is none other than Guile, who we first saw in Street Fighter 2 as on of the original 8 World Warriors. Can you hear his sonic booms in your head? 🙂
Still with his signature sonic boom, Guile will continue to control both ground and air with his normal attacks and special moves. In Street Fighter V his V-Skill is the Sonic Blade, a sonic energy stationary projectile. His V-Trigger is Solid Puncher, which lets Guile release continuous sonic booms. Depending on how you sequence this, yields interesting results. You can use this as a combo extender. His Critical Art is Sonic Hurricane and is also considered his most powerful attack. This attack first lets Guile power up and release one massive multi-hit sonic boom. The damage and range will be boosted for his critical art if his V-Trigger is active.
The character Guile will be free to play for everybody until the Zenny Shop gets launched in a later date. Guile will have his own Character Story as well as Set Trials. For those who bought the Season Pass, Guile’s battle costume will be available to you.
The game’s very first DLC stage will belong to Guile. A great nostalgic classic: Guile’s Air Force Base! Available for free for all those who have the Season Pass and will be available for 70,000 FM in the Shop.
Rage Quitters will now be punished by having a lock out period from matchmaking.
Easier matchmaking will now be experienced by lowering the restrictions in finding opponents.
