If you’re still on the fence on whether you want to get Star Wars Battlefront 2 or not, maybe trying out the game for free this weekend will give you what you need to finally decide.
Star Wars Battlefront 2’s Multiplayer Beta is currently live and is open to everybody. Those who pre-ordered the game got earlier access starting last 4 October, while beta opened to everybody else yesterday. The beta will continue on until 4PM UTC on 9 October.
4 of the 5 multiplayer modes will be availble during the beta. These are Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, Strike and Arcade. Heroes available during the beta are Rey, Han Solo, Boba Fett and Darth Maul.
Also, everybody who participates in the beta get a “Founder’s Crate” that carries over to the full release. The crate contains in-game credits, an exclusive emote for Darth Maul, a rare trooper Star Card, and more.
