The season starts on 5 December when players will need to make a very important choice – fight with the Resistance or join the First Order. Your choice allows you to take part in “special challenges” where you can earn “faction specific rewards”.

December 13 is when the bulk of the content is released. First, Finn and Captain Phasma will be added to the game. Both can be unlocked using in-game credits. Also, a special crate containing “high-powered upgrades” for either Finn or Phasma will be awarded to the faction that completes the most challenges during that week.

Tallie Lintra’s RZ-2 A-wing will also be added, while Poe Dameron’s T-70 X-wing will see changes inspired by The Last Jedi. A new planetary map and Starfighter Assault map will be added as well.

Resurrection will also be released on the same day. This will add new chapters to the game’s single-player story mode.

Week 2 content looks very cool. Glad they’ve made DLC free.
